To type directly with the computer keyboard:

• For the emphatic letters, type the capital letters: H, S, D, T, Z
• Type B, T, K, Y for ɓ, ɗ, ƙ, ƴ
• To add a diacritical mark, type an apostrophe; for instance: d', Z', s', g'
• Type A, E, I, U for the long vowels
