Click on an initial consonant, then on the vowel, and possibly on the final consonant, to form a syllable.

To type directly with the computer keyboard:

Type q for ʾ
Type A for l'aréa
Type O and U for ô and û
Type a space after an initial consonant to turn it into the final consonant of the previous syllable.
